Brady Jones (D) commits to Utah M1

The University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Defenseman Brady Jones for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Jones grew up playing hockey as a Carolina Junior Hurricane in Raleigh, North Carolina. During his u14 year, he won the Tier II National Championship at Notre Dame. He then moved to St. Paul, MN, where he played high school hockey at Gentry Academy.
For the following three years, Jones played AAA Hockey at Northstar Christian Academy, winning a championship in the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) as a u18 player. After his success in AAA Hockey, Jones was tendered by the Utah Outliers in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC). He spent the next year playing in the NCDC, appearing in over 45 games during the 2023-24 season.
One of Jones’ most memorable moments was winning a national championship with his hometown team.
“Delighted to welcome Brady to the Utah hockey family! His arrival brings invaluable strength to our defensive lineup. A masterful skater with an incredible puck movement, Brady’s playmaking expertise and hockey IQ will reinforce our defense,” said Men’s Division 1 Head Coach Morgan Feenie.
Jones plans to study Business at the U.
