Salt Lake City, Utah
The University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Trevor Kruzcek for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Kruzcek first stepped on the ice at the age of 3 years old. As he progressed through his age groups he fell in love with hockey more and more each season. At the age of fifteen, he moved away from home to attend Mount St. Charles Academy in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. In his senior year, the team won the 18u USA Hockey National Championship in Rochester, Michigan.
In the classroom, he was a part of the National Honor Society and completed a post-graduate year.
Following high school, Kruzcek played two years of Junior Hockey in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), first for the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights and then for the New Jersey Rockets. Toward the end of his second year in Junior Hockey, he went to the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) to play for the Philadelphia Junior Flyers.
Off the ice, Trevor enjoys hiking, biking, and most outdoor activities.
“I would like to welcome Trevor to the Utah Hockey family. He is a shifty forward with a great shot. While recruiting Trevor, I immediately saw a player who will fit the mold for what we thrive for upfront. He is a relentless forechecker and an amazing playmaker. I am excited to see what he will do for us next season,” said Men’s Division 1 Head Coach Morgan Feenie.
Kruzcek plans to study Business at the U.
Utah Hockey would like to welcome Trevor and wish him the absolute best in the upcoming season!
