The University of Utah Women’s Division 1 Hockey has released its Academic Progress report for the 2023-24 season.
The Skatin’ Utes are an academic leader in the American Collegiate Hockey Association with a team cumulative grade point average of 3.346 and 12 student-athletes, 55% of the team, on the Dean’s List with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
“I am so proud of the hard work the team had in the classroom. They are true student athletes and being a student comes first with our program. Being able to balance school and hockey is such an achievement at U. Having 12 players on the Dean’s List is something I’m truly thrilled about,” said Utah Women’s Division 1 Head Coach Rodney Stedt on the report.
Other key highlights for the season include the Fall 2023 team cumulative GPA of 3.336, two undergraduate degrees earned and awarded, four 4.0 spring term GPA, and a team average of 25.98 credits passed during the 2023-24 academic year.
