The University of Utah Men’s Division 2 Hockey has released its Academic Progress report for the 2023-24 season.
The Skatin’ Utes performed well with a team cumulative grade point average of 3.081 and 6 student-athletes on the Dean’s List with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
“We’re happy to see our team had six members on the Dean’s List during the Spring semester. Academics come first and we’re happy the team is taking their studies seriously and putting the work in to make sure they excel in school as well as on the ice. We’re looking forward to adding even more members of our team to the Dean’s list next season,” said Utah Men’s Division 2 Head Coach Nick Fornelius.
Other key highlights for the season include the Fall 2023 team cumulative GPA of 3.024, one 4.0 spring term GPA, three undergraduate degrees earned and awarded, and a team average of 26.00 credits passed during the 2023-24 academic year.
Utah Hockey congratulates the Men’s Division 2 program on its academic excellence and wishes our graduates the very best in their future endeavors.
