Kameron Williams (D) commits to Utah M1

University of Utah Men’s Division 1 Hockey has received a commitment from Defenseman Kameron Williams for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Williams, a native of Clark’s Summit, Pennsylvania, played four seasons for the Richmond Generals of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL). In his final season with the Generals, he earned Assistant Captain responsibilities and put up 27 points as a defenseman in 40 games. His skill and dedication helped the team to the semi-finals at the National Tournament.
He went on to play for the Western Collegiate Hockey League (WCHL) powerhouse and two-time American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) National Champions University of Central Oklahoma, where he was named to the WCHL All-Rookie team after playing in 30 games for the Bronchos during the 2023-24 season.
“I am more than excited to be a part of this squad. Couldn’t be more thrilled for the opportunity to wear these colors and play under Coach Feenie,” said Williams.
Kameron played 30 games for the Bronchos last season and tallied 7 assists.
“I am thrilled to welcome Kameron to Utah Hockey. His exceptional skating ability and offensive potential make him a valuable addition to our team. Coming from a distinguished program, Kameron will seamlessly integrate into our structured defense, enhancing our already robust defensive core,” said Men’s Division 1 Head Coach Morgan Feenie.
Williams plans to study Finance at the U.
