Utah W1 Defense Morgan Lavalley earns WWCHL All League 1st Team Award

University of Utah Hockey is thrilled to announce Women’s Division 1 Defense Morgan Lavalley was awarded the Women’s Western Collegiate Hockey League (WWCHL) All League 1st Team Award for the 2024-25 season.

The WWCHL, of which Utah W1 is a member, is home to Colorado State University, Grand Canyon University, Montana State University, University of Colorado, and the University of Denver.

With 26 games played, Morgan has 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 points. She also averaged 1.08 goals per game and tallied 1 game winning goal.

“Even as a freshman Morgan dominates the ice. Her strength, speed, and hockey IQ makes her deadly wherever she is on the ice” said Utah Head Coach Rodney Stedt.

LaValley is a native of Hermantown, Minnesota and this is her first season with the Utes.
