The 2026 Mountain West Collegiate Hockey League (MWCHL) Championship Tournament match-ups have been announced for the upcoming tournament at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex from February 5-7, 2026.
Utah M2 is the defending MWCHL Champion and is positioned well for their second MWCHL Conference Tournament since departing the PAC-8 Hockey conference in 2024.
Mountain West Collegiate Hockey League Membership includes:

Montana State University
Montana Tech University
University of Montana
University of Providence
University of Utah
Utah State University
Utah Valley University
Weber State University
The MWCHL Championship seedings are based on the American Collegiate Hockey Association Men’s Division 2 rankings from January 18, 2026. The highest ranked MWCHL team will be the number seed and so on. Only the top eight MWCHL members will participate in the tournament.

4:30 PM: Game #03, #8 Montana Tech vs. #1 Weber State (WATCH)
7:30 PM: Game #04, #5 Utah vs. #4 Providence (WATCH)
Friday, February 6, 2026, MWCHL Day 2
10:30 AM: Game #05, #8 Montana Tech vs. #7 Boise State (WATCH)
1:30 PM: Game #06, #6 Montana vs. #4 Providence (WATCH)
4:30 PM: Game #07, #3 Utah State vs. #2 Montana State (WATCH)
