The final schedule for the 6th Annual Wasatch Cup is now available, which will take place January 31-February 1st at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex. A Thursday night play-in game will also occur on January 30, 2020.
The three day tournament is structured similar to the Beanpot tournament in Boston; where all College Hockey teams in the state of Utah will battle through three rounds to determine the best team in the state. The seeding for the first and second round are decided by the ACHA Rankings. The highest ranked team will take on the lowest ranked team with the other two playing each other with the highest ranked team of the two being designated as the home team.
Weber State will take on the winner of Thursday night play-in game between Utah Valley University and BYU in the first semi-final game at 4:30. The Utah Skatin’ Utes will be the number two seed at this year’s Wasatch Cup and will play Utah State University in the semis at 7:30 PM on Friday evening.

The two losing teams from the semifinals will play each other at 4:30pm on Saturday, February 1st with the higher seed being the home team.
The two winners of the semifinals will play at 7:30 pm on February 1st to decide who will win the coveted Wasatch Cup. The highest seeded team will be the home team for the championship game.
