University of Utah Men’s Division 2 Hockey has received a commitment from Defenseman Keaton Morehead for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Keaton was born and raised in San Diego, California. He attended Carlsbad High School and most recently played for the San Diego Saints U18AAA team. During the 2021-22 season, Keaton had two goals and two assists.
In Morehead’s spare time, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, and photography.
“Keaton’s skating and aggressive play will have a big impact for us this year. His ability to use his stick to take away lanes defensively will help us create turnovers and create offense from the defensive zone ,” Men’s Division 2 Head Coach Nick Fornelius said.
Morehead plans to study Finance at the U.
