Jack Furlong (D) commits to Utah M2

University of Utah Men’s Division 2 Hockey has received a commitment from Defenseman Jack Furlong for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Jack was born in Orange County, California and played youth hockey for the Orange County Hockey Club in the California Amateur Hockey League. He later played for the Damian Spartans and the Orange Lutheran Lancers in the ADHSHL, where his teams won 2 League and 2 State Championships. Furlong’s favorite hockey memory is the San Jose trip his senior year, where he and his team found fun and success.
During his free time Furlong enjoys skiing, surfing, and lifting.
“Jack’s positioning and aggressiveness will be big for us this year on the blueline. In combination with his skating ability, we’re excited to see the impact he will have for us on the ice next season,” Men’s Division 2 Head Coach Nick Fornelius said.
Furlong plans to study Communications at the U.
