The Men’s Most Valuable Player of the Year Award is presented to the male student athlete who demonstrates themselves as the most valuable player both on and off the ice during the hockey season for the University of Utah Skatin’ Utes. The award was named after Captain Chase McDonald, who played with the team from 2012-2016.
