Cailey Scott (F) commits to Utah

University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Cailey Scott for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
Cailey Scott hales from Oregon and graduated from West Linn High. Scott comes from a hockey family and she started playing when she was a mini mite (8U).
Later, she played for the Northwest Selects girl team and the Portland Junior Hawks AA boys team. Scott was a three-sport athlete (hockey, soccer and lacrosse) winning two state championships and a national championship in soccer, as well as a state title in high school lacrosse. She played two years of college soccer at Westminster College before transferring to Utah where she is studying Strategic Communications.
“We are so excited for Cailey to join our program. As an experienced leader, Cailey’s work ethic and commitment to success are two innate qualities that caught our attention from the very beginning. She’s a multi-sport athlete and has brought so many positive attributes to our program from her diverse background. She truly exemplifies the characteristics and values of our program and we are excited to watch her shine both on and off the ice,” said Head Coach Marietti.
