University of Utah Men’s Division 1 Hockey has received a commitment from Goaltender Joseph Greilich for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Joseph was raised in Mukwonago, Wisconsin just outside of Milwaukee. He played WI high school hockey for KMMO Prep, finishing all conference & 2nd team all state. He also represented Wisconsin in U16 2018 Nationals in New Jersey. During Juniors, he played in the NA3HL, 1 year for the Milwaukee Power (Wisconsin) and 2 years for the Alexandria Blizzard (Minnesota). In my free time, he spends most of it outdoors; fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, skiing, and enjoys playing all sports!
“Joey is a welcome addition between the pipes. He is a fundamentally sound goalie with an extremely competitive drive. He has a great work ethic and is always trying to better himself. He is exactly what we look for in goaltenders and I am excited to see the great things he is going to bring to our program,” Men’s Division 1 Head Coach Morgan Feenie said.
Greilich plans to study Kinesiology & Business at the U.
Utah Hockey would like to welcome Joseph and wish him the absolute best in the upcoming season!
