Utah Hockey announces 2019 Men’s Recruiting Weekend

University of Utah Hockey is proud to announce the Men’s Recruiting and Tryout Weekend for the 2019-20 Season. This weekend is open to all currently enrolled or prospective (future/non-admitted) University of Utah Students.

Weekend participants must attend all sessions and games, and register online by midnight on April 17, 2019. Team assignments will be sent via email by midnight on April 18, 2019. Weekend cost is $95 and payable by credit card when registering online ($65 if before March 21st, $125 after April 7th).

Required tryout forms are available HERE and must be completed in full before being allowed on the ice.

Roster spots can only be offered to student athletes that have applied to the University of Utah. We highly advise all those in attendance to submit their applications to the University of Utah prior to the April 1, 2019 application deadline.

University of Utah Academic & Admission Representatives will be present to answer questions.

All tryout sessions occur at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Session 1: April 19, 2019 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Session 2: April 20, 2019 10:15 am to 12:15 pm
Recruitment BBQ: April 20, 2019 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Session 3: April 20, 2019, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

We tend to highly recommend attendance for the following reasons:
1- The entire weekend is designed to provide all information so you can make an informed decision
2- You will be able to meet with the entire coaching and medical staff on an individual level
3- Five and a half hours of ice time over the course of the weekend
4- Team BBQ so you can meet the entire team off the rink
5- Its a ton of fun!
