Luke Ossola (F) commits to Utah

University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Luke Ossola for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
“I’m excited to be attending my dream school and playing hockey at the University of Utah. I can’t wait to get to work with all the guys,” said Ossola.
Luke grew up in Orange County, California, and began playing youth hockey for Orange County Hockey Club. He joined his high school team, the Capistrano Coyotes of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League during his freshman year. His greatest accomplishment was finishing second in the Division 2 high school national championships this past spring. The team also won the California Amateur Hockey Associations Division 2 state championship. Ossola also earned scholar-athlete honors all 4 years in the program.
“Luke is a solid skater and will provide high IQ play and good offense for us. We’re excited and lucky to have him on the team for the upcoming season,” Men’s Division 2 Head Coach Nick Fornelius said.
Ossola is planning to studying Business at the U.
