Salt Lake City, Utah
University of Utah Men’s Division 1 Hockey has received a commitment from Defenseman Konrad Clements for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Konrad was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and moved to Salt Lake City when I was 2 years old. He grew up playing hockey for the Utah Jr. Grizzlies and Utah Outliers programs before billeting in Wisconsin to play AAA in the Tier 1 Elite league for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals. He spent the last season playing juniors for the Milwaukee Power in the NA3HL.
“I am really looking forward to coming back ‘home’ and playing college hockey at Utah,” said Clements.
In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, camping, and the outdoors.
“We are pleased to have Konrad join the Utah Hockey family. He will be a solid defenseman that can play the entire 200 ft. He has high levels of compete, is not afraid to block shots, and can work the blueline well. I am excited for the bright future Konrad has with us here,” Men’s Division 1 Head Coach Morgan Feenie said.
Clements plans to study Business at the U.
Utah Hockey would like to welcome Konrad and wish him the absolute best in the upcoming season!
