University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Andrew Urch for the upcoming 2018-19 season.
Urch, a native of Orange County, California, has played the last four years for Villa Park High School. This last season he averaged over two points per game, placing second in Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League in assists and fourth in total points. He was also twice selected for the Orange County ADHSHL All-Star team, as well as California’s Team San Diego All-Star hockey team for the 2018 America Showcase Tournament in St. Louis, Missouri.
“Andrew is an enthusiastic forward coming to us from OC. He is a hard worker and has a knack for putting pucks in the back of the net. He has a great attitude and he will be a welcome addition to the team,” said Head Coach Brett Huras.
Utah Hockey would like to welcome Andrew and wish him the best in the upcoming season.
