University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Ashton Romero for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
Romero is a Utah born hockey player who has played on teams across the United States. During his Senior year of high school, Ashton lived in Wisconsin and played for the Milwaukee Jr Admirals AAA of the Tier 1 Elite hockey League (T1EHL). After graduating from Skyline High School, Ashton moved to New Hampshire and played for the Northern Cyclones of the United State Premier Hockey League (USPHL).
Head Coach Huras on Romero, “Ashton is hard working forward that we are thrilled to have on the team. His experience should serve him well and we expect him to contribute all season long.”
Ashton plans to study Multi Disciplinary Design at the U. Romero also enjoys golf and fishing and is looking forward to beginning his career as a Ute.
