University of Utah Women’s Division 1 Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Carson Beck for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Carson has been playing hockey in Phoenix, Arizona since she was 4 years old and most recently with the Arizona Kachinas. Her favorite part of hockey is the relationships and connections it builds. The game teaches so many lessons that are used in life. This game has given Beck so much and she will always be so thankful for it.
“Playing in college has always been a dream of mine. I can’t wait to meet my new teammates and play hockey,” says Beck. “I have met my best friends through this sport and I don’t know where I would be without them!”
“Carson is exactly the type of defenseman you want on your team. She’s stay-home and reads the play super well. She’s also vicious in front of our net. Opponents will have a tough time getting past her,” Women’s Division 1 Head Coach Braeden Yeo said.
Beck is currently undecided about a field of study at the U but will is leaning towards Marketing or Business.
Utah Hockey would like to welcome Carson and wish her the absolute best in the upcoming season!
