The University of Utah Skatin’ Utes would like to announce that the team has received a commitment from Defenseman Guy Petrie for the upcoming 2016-2017 season.
Guy is from Beverly Hills, CA and has been playing hockey since he was five years old. Guy will be graduating from Beverly Hills High School at the end of May.
Guy played for the California Wave 18aaa for the 2015-2016 season. He helped his team get one win away from going to USA Hockey National Championship. While playing for the Wave Guy recorded 19 points in 42 games. Guy is an offensive defenseman who likes to join the rush, but also plays a smart aggressive defensive game.
Guy plans on studying Business at the U.
Utah Hockey would like to welcome Guy and wish him the best in the upcoming season.
