Max Fenne (F) commits to Utah M2

University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Max Fenne for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Max was born in Newport Beach and grew up in Orange County where he played youth and high school hockey. During high school, Fenne played for Orange Lutheran Lancers in the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League winning back-to-back California State Championships in 2020 & 2021 and playing in the 2021 USA Hockey High School National Championships. He also played club hockey for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks.
During the 2021-22 season with the Ducks, he tallied 106 points (40G & 66A) in 56 games and played in the 2022 USA Hockey National Championships.
“I am very excited to be part of the Utah hockey program and begin my collegiate career as a Ute,” says Fenne.
“We’re excited to add Max to the team this year. His offensive abilities will be a huge lift for our effort to put pucks in the net,” Men’s Division 2 Head Coach Nick Fornelius said.
Fenne plans to study Business at the U.
