University of Utah Hockey is excited to announce our Women’s Recruiting and Tryout Weekend for the 2024-25 Season. This weekend is open to all currently enrolled or prospective (future/non-admitted) University of Utah Students.
Weekend participants must attend all sessions and games, and register online by midnight on April 11, 2024. Team assignments will be given out at check-in.
Weekend cost is $85 (before February 12th) and payable by credit card when registering online. Tryout fees increase to $105 on February 13th, and $135 after March 14th. Please note, tryout fees are non-refundable.
Required tryout and liability forms will be emailed after student athlete completes registration process and must be completed in full before being allowed on the ice.
Roster spots will only be offered to student athletes who have applied to the University of Utah by the application deadline. We highly advise all those in attendance to submit their applications to the University of Utah prior to the April 1, 2024 application deadline.

All tryout sessions occur at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Optional Campus Tour: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, registration is required
- Optional Campus Tour: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, registration is required
- Optional Campus Tour: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, registration is required
- Check-in: 5:45 PM – 6:15 PM
- Head Coach Intro: 6:15 PM – 6:30 PM
- Ice Session 1: 7:15 PM – 9:15 PM

- Ice Session 2: 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM
- Recruitment BBQ: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Ice Session 3: 7:15 PM – 9:15 PM
We highly recommend attendance for the following reasons:
- The entire weekend is designed to provide all information so you can make an informed decision about your college hockey home
- You will be able to meet with the entire coaching and medical staff on an individual level
- Team BBQ so you can meet the entire team outside the rink
- Its a ton of fun!
