University of Utah Hockey is proud to announce our Recruiting & Tryout Weekend for the 2018-19 Season. This weekend is open to all currently enrolled or prospective (future/non-admitted) University of Utah Students.
Weekend participants must attend all sessions and games, and register online by midnight on April 4, 2018. Team assignments will be sent via email by midnight on April 5, 2018. Weekend cost is $95 and payable by credit card when registering online ($85 if before March 14th, $105 after April 1st).
Required tryout forms are available here and must be completed in full before being allowed on the ice.
University of Utah Academic & Admission Representatives will be present to answer questions. Discounted hotel accommodations can be found here.
All tryout sessions occur at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Session 1: April 6, 2018 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Session 2: April 7, 2018 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
Recruitment BBQ: April 7, 2018 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Session 3: April 7, 2018 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
We tend to highly recommend attendance for the following reasons:
1- The entire weekend is designed to provide all information so you can make an informed decision
2- You will be able to meet with the entire coaching and medical staff on an individual level
3- Six hours of ice time over the course of the weekend
4- Team BBQ so you can meet the entire team off the rink
5- Its a ton of fun!
