Utah M1 plays defending National Champions UNLV in Vegas

October 9, 2025
Salt Lake City, Utah
The Utah Men’s Division 1 team travels to Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend to take on the 2025 American Collegiate Hockey Association National Champions University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
This Western Collegiate Hockey League (WCHL) matchup will start the regular season for the Rebels as their preseason has only been NCAA opponents University of Denver and University Alaska Fairbanks. UNLV lost both match-ups, but performed well and kept scores relatively close with 3-0 and 6-1.
The Utes are 2-1-1 this season with a pair of wins over WCHL rivals Missouri State on September 25 and 26th and a sudo split against the perennial ACHA powerhouse Liberty University last weekend.
Leading the Utes in points are Forwards Trevor Kruczek and Paul Waldhauser, and Defenseman Matthew Delany, all with four points in four games.
Between the pipes both Utah goaltenders have played well. Both Joseph Greilich and Garret Fuller have secured one win and one loss.
Utah M1 plays at 8:00 PM MST on Friday, and 8:00 PM MST on Saturday evening.
Both games will occur at City National Arena and tickets can be found here.
