Utah Hockey releases 2012-13 Schedule

University of Utah Hockey is proud to release their schedule for the 2012-13 Season.

Your Skatin’ Utes open the season at home with two instate rival games against BYU on Sept 28th and Weber State on Sept 29th.

Headlining the home season schedule is #1 Arizona State on October 20, 2012 and #2 Utah State on February 2, 2013. Utah will also welcome Montana State and Cal State Long Beach this season for a total of 14 Home Games.

PAC-8 competition heats up at the Utah Ice Sheet as #5 Utah hosts three PAC-8 weekends against #10 Washington, Oregon, and USC. The 2012-13 season is the first PAC-8 season without a weighted point system. Every team plays 12 conference games and the top four teams advance to the PAC-8 Championships in Los Angeles next February.

Utah has also been awarded the 2013 ACHA Regional Tournament, and after the success of last season hopes are high for a return trip to the Western Regional Tournament.

On the road, Utah will play Weber State, San Jose State, Utah State, BYU, Colorado, Colorado State, Denver University, along with three PAC-8 weekends agains UCLA, Cal, and Washington State.
