Utah W1 Captain Halle Hansen earns WWCHL All League 1st Team Award

University of Utah Hockey is thrilled to announce Women’s Division 1 Captain Halle Hansen was awarded the Women’s Western Collegiate Hockey League (WWCHL) All League 1st Team Award for the 2024-25 season.

The WWCHL, of which Utah W1 is a member, is home to Colorado State University, Grand Canyon University, Montana State University, University of Colorado, and the University of Denver.

With 26 games games played, Halle has 13 goals and 15 assists for 28 points. She also averaged 1.08 goals per game and tallied 2 game winning goals.

“Day in and day out Halle controls the ice. She is clearly one of the top players in the league and shows every time she wears a Utah jersey,” said Utah Head Coach Rodney Stedt.

Hansen is a native of Bellingham, Washington and this is her fourth season with the Utes.
