Utah W1 Defense Morgan Lavalley earns WWCHL All Rookie Team Award

University of Utah Hockey is happy to announce Women’s Division 1 Defense Morgan Lavalley was awarded the Women’s Western Collegiate Hockey League (WWCHL) All Rookie Team Award for the 2024-25 season.

Morgan was a force to reckon with this season scoring 28 points (12g, 16a) in just 26 games. She also averaged 1.08 goals per game and tallied 1 game winning goal.

“LaValley is a complete value add to our team and she adds so much to the blue line,” said Utah Head Coach Rodney Stedt.

LaValley is a native of Hermantown, Minnesota and this is her first season with the Utes.
