Utah W1 Goaltender Caroline Steegmans earns WWCHL All League 1st Team Award

University of Utah Hockey is thrilled to announce Women’s Division 1 Goaltender Caroline Steegman was awarded the Women’s Western Collegiate Hockey League (WWCHL) All League 1st Team Award for the 2024-25 season.
The WWCHL, of which Utah W1 is a member, is home to Colorado State University, Grand Canyon University, Montana State University, University of Colorado, and the University of Denver.
With 14 games played in the books this season, Caroline has 6 wins, 4 losses, and 2 Overtime Losses. She also has impressive 1.95 GAA and a save percentage of .927.
“Consistency is key for a goalie and Caroline has been consistent all season. Every time she was in net, she gave the team a chance to win,” said Utah Head Coach Rodney Stedt.
Steegman is a native of Dallas, Texas and this is her second season with the Utes.
