University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from goaltender Jake Slaugh for the upcoming 2017-18 season.
Jake is from Vernal, UT and most recently spent time with the Ogden Mustangs in the WPL. Prior to his time there, Slaugh graduated from Uintah High School where he won a state championship with the Utes. Slaugh has also played for the Utah Golden Eagles, Northwest Regulators, and Chadders during his youth career.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to represent such a great team and school. Watching the team grow over my hockey career has been an inspiration and I always wanted to end up here,” Slaugh said.
“Jake will be a great addition in the pipes for us, his work ethic and puck stopping ability will not go unnoticed.” Head Coach Huras said about Slaugh.
Utah Hockey would like to welcome Jake and wish him the best in the upcoming season.
