Bryce Miller (F) commits to Utah M1

University of Utah Men’s Division 1 Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Bryce Miller for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Bryce started playing hockey when he was 7 years old. He played hockey for many of the youth programs in Utah, including Salt Lake Lightning, Utah Golden Eagles and Park City Miners. Miller served as captain for the Miners. He moved out of state and played for the Winterhawks Jr. Hockey in Portland, Oregon where he scored 13 points in 18 games and served as Assistant Captain (2018-2019) and Captain (2019-2020).
He then moved back to Utah and played for the Ogden Mustangs in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) and racked up 38 points over two seasons and was a stronghold on the penalty kill. “I am excited to continue my hockey career at the University of Utah,” says Miller.
In the off season, he likes to play basketball and go camping.
“Bryce will be a big supplement to our team and specifically our specialty teams. His work ethic not only makes him a perfect addition on the penalty kill, but his accurate and quick release equate to power play success. Bryce is a strong playmaker and sees the ice extremely well. I am excited to have Bryce join the Utah Hockey family,” Men’s Division 1 Head Coach Morgan Feenie said.
Miller is currently undedecided in his field of study at the U.
