University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Connor McCarthy for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
McCarthy is from North Caldwell, NJ where he started playing hockey at the age of 5. He has considerable experience playing offense and defense and prides himself on being an asset any where on the ice. For the 2018-19 season Connor played for the New Jersey Bandits U18AA and the North Jersey Avalanche U18AAA, all while playing for West Essex High School.
“Connor is a very welcome addition to our squad. We expect him to contribute early and often,” said Head Coach Huras.
Connor plans to study Computer Science at the U.
