University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Forward Kai Conti for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
Conti is from Portland, Oregon where he graduated from Corbett High School as valedictorian. He played with the Portland Junior Winterhawks for years winning two National Championships before moving to San Jose, California to play for the Junior Sharks AAA 16U team in the Tier 1 Elite League. He returned to the Portland Junior Winterhawks last season to play for NHL veteran and head coach Paul Gaustad, serving as a captain on the 18U team.
“Kai is hard working player with a great attitude. He will add energy to the locker room and I expect him to start contributing to the team from day one,” said Head Coach Huras.
Utah Hockey would like to welcome Kai and wish him the absolute best in the upcoming season!
