University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Defense Madison Brower for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
Madison grew up in Utah and graduated from Cottonwood High School. Growing up in a hockey family, her dad put her in skates as soon as she could walk. She played rec hockey with the boys and during her Pee Wee year of hockey, she joined the Lady Lightning. She played high school hockey for the Salt Lake Stars varsity squad.
“On behalf of our entire staff, we welcome Maddie to our program. Maddie adds to our strength of our defensive component and will be a valuable addition to our team. Her tenacity and grit are contagious both on and off the ice. I have no doubt she will instill positivity and a worker bee mentality throughout our entire program,” said Head Coach Marietti.
Madison is a transfer to the U as a junior and is pursuing a degree in Nursing.
Utah Hockey would like to welcome Madison and wish her the absolute best in the upcoming season!
