Utah Women’s Program admitted to WWCHL

University of Utah Hockey is proud to announce their admittance to the Western Women’s Collegiate Hockey League.
The WWCHL is a proud member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association Women’s Division-1 and includes the member teams of: Arizona State, Colorado State, Grand Canyon, University of Colorado, and University of Denver.
WWCHL Commissioner Lindsay Ellis said, “As a conference, we are proud to add University of Utah women’s program to the WWCHL. Not only are we growing collegiate hockey throughout the Rocky Mountain district, we are creating more opportunity for female players in the Western United States. We’re looking forward to the addition of Utah and to continue building the WWCHL toward the highest level of play in the ACHA.”
The Skatin’ Utes will host conference opponents Colorado State University on November 1st & 2nd, and Grand Canyon on November 15th & 16th. The second semester match-ups with begin with Denver University when they head to Salt Lake City on January 10th & 11th.
“Joining the WWCHL in Utah’s Women’s inaugural season is a excellent opportunity for our program and we honored to be members. We are really looking forward to the season to begin.” said Utah GM AJ Boldan.
