Josh Narvaez (D) commits to Utah

University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Defenseman Josh Narvaez for the upcoming 2018-19 season.
Narvaez, a native of Chicago, Illinois, graduated from Jacobs High School in Algonquin, Illinois, where he was a four-sport athlete playing Football, Hockey, Wrestling, and Track.
After high school he played NCAA Division 3 Football & ACHA Division 2 Hockey for Augustana College, where he tailed 70 points in 64 games for the Vikings. In the Fall of 2016 Narvaez transferred to the University of Utah to pursue a degree in Business Management.
Head Coach Brett Huras stated, “Josh is a versatile player who can play defense or center. He has a team-first attitude and isn’t afraid to play a physical-style game. He brings needed ACHA experience with him and we are glad to have him on board.”
